Governor Jon Corzine signs the Compassionate Use Medical Marijuana Act (CUMMA) on his final day in office.
2019: Expansion of Medical Program with “Jake’s Law”
The Jake Honig Compassionate Use Medical Cannabis Act increases monthly limits and establishes the Cannabis Regulatory Commission (CRC).
2020: Voter Approval for Recreational Use
On November 3, 2020, 67.1% of New Jersey voters approved Public Question 1, which amended the state constitution.
